Yes.
Beautiful place in osaka, lots of art and feels like retro Japan, went here to find a specific knife from towerknifes. Spending the day here was super cool, got lots of cool pictures
One of the 20 towers of Japan and some interesting history around this tower. It also has a bunch of spirits at the top and a party floor. The area around the tower is also lots of fun.
Very clean street. This place can be free to pass if you have Osaka Amazing Pass.
Was a cool experience. But there isn't much space compared to other towers. I was lucky that it wasn't crowded otherwise would have sucked. But the view was amazing.
A historical tower structure turned into a museum alike. At the top floor, you can pay to use binoculars for a spectacular birds view of Tennoji district. A Japanese garden at the 1st floor where you take selfies. At the entrance, you can watch a short monkey show. There is one thing for certain though......You will not be short of chances to buy souvenirs and snacks and noodles whilst walking up and down the floors.
It is another simple japanese tower. Nothing remarkable. It is in a good area and worth checking out but not a must see
A must see. Especially at night with all the lights lite up. The views from the top of the tower are unparalleled.
Tsutenkaku Tower was probably one of my favorite activities in Osaka. It is a super cool and fun experience and once you get to the top observatory deck you can enjoy the 360 views of the city! It has a great souvenir shop and cafe with all kinds of cool options. Near the tower there are many food and shopping alleys and it is right next to the zoo. You can see the zoo from above as well. The park is beautiful too! Definitely recommend this activity.
Great place to see the entire city.
Great place to go on your first day when you’re jet lagged and in the middle of being familiar with the town and time change. Great views from in the tower and of the tower from the ground. It is a wonderful place to go especially in the evening when you can see the change from day to night as the sky changes.
Delicious street food, beer vending machine, and an amazing view of the city from. the tower.
Its good for some photos or have a really good coffee at dragon coffee store! Such a nice guy there! U can get premium or Standard coffee and really nice handmade glass jewellery! I really recommend to visit the shop!
Super quaint tower with wonderful birds eye view of Osaka! So many things to see and buy here and provided great insight into the history of old Osaka. I'd been to Shinsekai many times but this was my first time going up and it was such a novelty experience. Would really recommend a first timer to do this!
Went there during non peak but the queue was pretty long still. Air conditioning wasn't working really well. Hence, the entire floor was warm and not well ventilated. City view was great especially during sunset. Worth visiting still.
Located in Shinsekai built in 1912, this is quite a nice attraction in Osaka. Ticket for adults is 800yen while kids below 12 is 400yen. You will be also treated to the history of Glico & its cafe. Overall, an enjoyable experience!
Tsutenkaku Tower.. Love the scenario here. But too soon close. At 6pm, all the market close already.
It was cool to see from the outside, but inside there were too many lights facing the windows making it hard to see out at night
There's an open area that is not covered by glass at the very top. After reaching the top observatory you can buy the ticket to the open area for 500yen.At this area there's a glass floor from which you can glance at the streets from above.
It's free if you purchase Kyoto 2-day pass. The view is really nice.
A nice place with some markets, zoo and old school stuff that would bring back some memories.
Lively area !One of the « hot » neighborhood i would say (at least for Japan 😁) with a lot of people going out here (including lots of tourists) and getting drunk.A photogenic, colorful and neon light district !A lot of food options with a wide budget choice.
It was definitely worth going at night. The city is beautiful from up high. The only sad thing is that the elevator ride up has a story/history lesson being read out and it's all in Japanese. Really wish I knew the language better
Nice vibrant Shinsekai street surrounding the tower but most restaurants are smoking establishments. Observatory is rather old too (albeit great service), wouldn’t recommend it without the Osaka amazing pass.
This place beautiful and have video talk about history and how you know to building this place
Very interesting experience. It might be better for foreign tourists if the displays were labelled in English.
A very lively place. Restaurants are well-lit at night making it nice for photography.
Tsutenkaku is Osaka's observatory tower. It has beautiful 360 view of the area and you scan see quite far. Its attempts to keep up with modern trends are tongue in cheek and self aware. You'll understand the moment you are in the elevator going up. The 5th floor is great, but the 4th has the telescopes and music is playing. There are also lights and disco balls...kinda wish I came here at night.
If you want the feel of retro japan it's fun place to visit. Beware that there are more adult vending machines here.
Tower placed in the center of the retro parts of Osaka, it had many floors with quirky things to see, the view at the top was nice too.
While there was a pocky & glico museum. There's not much to see or explore. The tower is not particularly tall. Best viewed from outside at night.
AMAZINGLY FUN! GREAATTTT CHHOOCCOOLLAATTEESS. exit the Ebisu line, Tsutenkaku Tower is just straight from exit 3.
Tower in Osaka near a bunch of food and shops. Amazing views of all of Osaka, able to see water from it. Very cool experience only about $10 usd to go inside and go to the top platform of the tower. Line and wait does not take that long. Highly recommend if you are into views and want an full view of Osaka. Good to see during sunset! Souvenir store also in the tower with lots of cool stuff.
Lively place in the heart of Osaka city. Wonderful at night, good for a walk and for local food. Despite of what is said, i felt very safe walking alone at night, there were also plenty of visitors so everything went super okay. Whoever comes to Osaka must come here!
Gorgeous tower, feels futuristic, looks amazing in the night time! Entry to this place is crowded with a lot of food joints. Clicking pictures is fun here. Must visit tower from Osaka. Summit views are really beautiful.
Fairly cool, but the gift shop is basically visual assault and the building layout forces you to wander an omiyage maze.
A tower in the middle of osaka city offering a good view of the whole city/valley. Certainly worth the ticket to enter for sightseeing enthusiasts. They also have a small show at the souvenir area.
The experience was great. The staff were so friendly and nice. The place has some ways to bring you to the time where it started. Their elevator has this so cool animation. From the top you can see the beautiful Osaka. They also have stores where you can buy souvenirs and foods. We had a Tsutenkaku coin which is pretty cool. At night you can see the tower changes its color. It's really cool.
Good night shots. Just take the tower photos from afar. Not worth time spent going up. Food choices are good surrounding the tower.
We tried all sort of food and had great fun. Bring cash as that's the easiest to transact with. Go toilet before going there, I didn't notice public loos.
Nice place to hang out for a bit. Lots of shops and arcades around. We didn’t go up in the tower (a bit pricey for our liking) but it was still neat to see and learn what it represents.
Awesome view. Will visit again, zoo is just right beside. The food street nearby have some awesome food. You can chill here for a day!
Nice Tower, that represents Osaka. Now is in the middle of a neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and shopping places.
At night this neighbourhood is not to miss. Bright lights, big city. Lots of food, beautiful commercial boards.
It was so so good. Visit only at night before 8 the streets around tower is worth to roam. View was good but i got bored after 10 minutes. Ticket was 800 Yen for tower.
The view on the observation deck is good. The interior design is very thoughtful, each floor has its own theme, even inside the lift has its own. Many spots for taking selfie photos.
Highly recommend to hang around the district for the old Osaka atmosphere. The main streets have a lot of restaurants tho a bit touristy. But once you walk out of the main streets you would discover a lot of hidden gems!
Great observation tower in this older part of Osaka. On the side of the tower it reads 100 years with Osaka from The Hitachi Co.Entrance to the observation deck is made through an entrance in B1. From there you pay the 210Yen entrance fee and will be whisked up to the top for a commanding 360 degree views there. Worth a visit when you are in the Tennoji area. Right below it is Shinsekai, a food and shopping area that is great for Katsukushi and looking for souvenirs there as well.
Scenic shopping experience. Be sure to walk underneath the tower. Actually, Pokémon 2nd gen Radio Tower is inspired by this building.
Busy and touristy attraction with retro feel. I almost expected Shaider to pop out somewhere 😅. Too bad we weren't able to enjoy the place longer as we were only walking through the place as part of a group tour.
Great spots for authentic scene for photos. The tower is also very informative with clear guidance and tours
